» What is a Comec-Italia account for?
Having an account means that you can personalise your interaction with the site. You can register orders in sospeso, buy products, download documents and check the status of your order online.

» How do I open an account?
Click on the link “Register” , which is on all the pages of the site. Fill in all the required fields on the registration page, giving a username and a password, which will become your login.

» I’ve forgotten my password. What do I do now?
If you’ve forgotten your password, we can email it to you. Click on the words: “Have you forgotten your password?”, which you will see in the ‘Login’ box that is on all the pages of the site, to get to the right page.

» How can I change my USERID or my password?
Go to your account and change the details in the username and password spaces, then click on the “Continue” button. The changes will take effect immediately.

» How can I change the address for invoicing or delivery?
After having confirmed the order on the checkout page, go to the delivery page where you will see the address given at the time of registration of the account. If this is not correct, fill in the field below giving the new address. The changes will take effect immediately and will be used for future orders also.

» Must I have an email address to place an order?
No, but if you give us your email address, you will receive a message confirming that your order has been processed. Otherwise, Comec will send you confirmation by post. Comec will contact you if there are any problems with the order.

» How can Ireview and complete my order?
You can review your order at any time, just click on the shopping cart icon.
Click on one of the “continue shopping” icons to buy something else. The order will remain registered while you are in the website. You can change the quantities requested at any time by just entering the new data in the correct box and then clicking on the ‘change quantity’ button.
To complete the order, click on the “Continue” button. After having provided your data for the invoice and delivery, click on the “Go to checkout” button to finalise the order.

» What happens if one of the products I ordered is not available?
Comec will inform you of this in good time, via email.

» How do I buy the products?
You must be registered and subsequently authorised by comec italia s.r.l. in order to access the service for purchasing any of our consumer products.
Once you have registered, you will be allocated a login and a password to access the reserved area.
With the registration and successive check made of the permission granted by Comec-italia, you will be notified via email whether you have been successful.
Different types of permission may be granted for the following: download technical documents regarding the machine in your possession (should you already have one), online purchase of consumer products, pads, inks, plates and clichès.
Once you have been granted permission, you can access the pages showing the products you have chosen, where you can enter the quantities that you require and then purchase them.
WARNING! Comec-italia srl will activate this permission or not, based on your registration form, as a client, potential client, supplier or distributor.

» How does the buying procedure work?
Once you have chosen the products you are interested in and have entered the quantity you want, simply click on the shopping cart icon in the left hand bar to go to the order panel.
All the orders you have chosen will be listed on this page: you can now decide whether to confirm and send your request to comec-italia , or to cancel those you are not interested in.
WARNING! If you have requested material but have not confirmed the order, your requests will stay until you log in again. At this stage Comec-italia will confirm the order; this confirmation will be emailed to you with the delivery date, or you will be informed that the products you ordered are currently out of stock.

» How does online payment work?
Credit card
Comec-italia store accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express for all telephone orders as well as those made via the Internet.
If you chose to pay with your credit card, the order will be validated as soon as it is sent on the Web. Once authorised (usually the same day), Comec will begin to process it.

» Is it possible to chose more than one method of payment?
At the moment, we only accept one form of payment for each order.

» When will the sum be debited to my credit card?
For all payment via credit card, the sum will be debited at the moment the order is sent.
If you pay by cheque, telegraph transfer o postal giro transfer, Comec will wait for the payment to clear before proceeding with the order, and this could cause a delay in some cases.

» Can I buy if I am not a client?
No.
You must register in order to enter the online shopping section.

» Where can I download the technical documents?
There are two methods:
1- Once you have logged in and have checked whether you are qualified for this request, you simply click on the download link that will appear in the right-hand side menu; this will take you to a page where you can look through the various categories and choose the product you want to download the documents for.
2- Once you have logged in and have checked whether you are qualified for this request, just click the download link on each page regarding the product or machine you are viewing, and you can access the corresponding page with the technical files directly.

»Why are some buttons in the shop active, whereas others are grey and inaccessible?
Comec-Italia reserves the right to enable or disenable access to the various sections relating to the purchase of materials and to downloading technical information: each user will be guaranteed access to these functions in accordance with the agreements made with Comec-Italia. According to the availability of access to these sections, the relevant buttons on the main menu in the 'Shop' area will be activated or not. The icons below explain what the active and inactive areas will look like.

»Is it necessary to have an email address to make an order?
Yes, Comec-Italia needs an address so you can be notified of the acceptance of the orders and also to keep you informed about your account.

» What is the difference between the menu that appears on the right and the one on the left?
The menu on the right is an extension of the one on the left and and is there so that the products in the chosen category can be reached quickly. Consequently the sub-products and/or sub-categories in the selected section will be entered in the menu on the right.
